Leslie Cheung, was a Hong Kong singer, Cantopop composer and actor. He also composed film music, be a choreographer, MTV director and artistic director, etc… He was a one of the representative of Cantopop in Hong Kong with great influence to China and even Asia. 

In the aspect of Cantopop, he left a lot of sentimental ballads, including “Wind Blows On” (風繼續吹), “Wind Blows Again” (風再起時), “Monica”, “Who Resonates With Me” (有誰共鳴), “Silence is Golden”(沉默是金), “Left Right Hand” (左右手), etc… He had won Most Popular Male Artist (最受歡迎男歌星) in two years and Ultimate Male Artist Gold Award. 

For his development in film acting, he left a lot of classics movie, including “A Better Tomorrow” (英雄本色), “A Chinese Ghost Story”(倩女幽魂), “Rouge” (胭脂扣), “Days of Being Wild” (阿飛正傳), “Farewell My Concubine” (霸王別姬) “Happy Together” (春光乍洩). He had won Hong Kong Film Awards – the Best Actor Awards in two years too. 

Cheung died by suicide on 1 April 2003 due to his suffering from depression.

張國榮，是香港一位著名已故的歌手、演員兼曲詞創作人。他亦曾擔任過幕後不同創作崗位，例如電影配樂、排舞、音樂錄像導演、藝術總監等，是香港樂壇的代表人物之一，在中國以至亞洲都有舉足輕重的影響力。

粵語流行音樂上，他留下《風繼續吹》、《風再起時》、《Monica》、《有誰共鳴》、《沉默是金》、《左右手》等作品，連續兩屆榮膺《十大勁歌金曲頒獎典禮》「最受歡迎男歌星」與「叱咤樂壇流行榜男歌手金獎」。

電影發展方面，他亦留下了《英雄本色》、《倩女幽魂》、《胭脂扣》、《阿飛正傳》、《霸王別姬》、《春光乍洩》等佳經典作品，曾榮獲兩屆「香港電影金像獎最佳男主角獎」。

可惜由於他患上㧕鬱症，在2003年4月1日墮樓身亡，終年46歲。
